Since 2023, ARIS has discontinued public calls for (co)financing the Slovenian part of Weave joint research projects, where ARIS acts as a partner agency. Instead, (co)financing is now provided through direct contracts. Applicants can find further information at the following link: Weave - information for applicants (valid from 2nd June 2025)

  • Opening the possibility to submit the Slovenian part of the Weave research project application to ARIS: 1st April 2026 at 17:00
  • Deadline for submission of the joint application of the Weave research project to the FWO: 8th April 2026 at 17:00 
  • Deadline for submission of the Slovenian part of the Weave research project application at ARIS: 1st April 2025 at 17:00 
  • Anticipated date of publication of results: December 2026
  • Estimated start of (co)financing the Slovenian part of the Weave research projects: 1st March 2027

When completing the WEAVE FWO/2026 application form, the applicant must state in the application the total amount of requested (co)financing for each national/regional part of the Weave research project expressed in EUR. The amounts must correspond to the amounts stated in the joint application of the Weave research project submitted to the lead agency (FWO).
