In early summer the Embassy of the United States of America in Slovenia, with which the Slovenian Research Agency cooperates for the second year in the national Science Communication project honoured the Public Relations Representative at the Slovenian Research Agency, Tina Vuga with a nomination to the International Visitors Leadership Programme (IVLP) entitled #HiddenNoMore: Empowering Women Leaders in STEM. In late summer, 50 nominees from 50 countries from around the globe were chosen to participate in the programme.

The programme is spread over several US cities, from Washington DC to Los Angeles, between October 8 and 27 2017.

The IVLP #HiddenNoMore Program is the first of its kind, inspired by the movie Hidden Figures. IVLP is the U.S. Department of State premier exchange programme, successfully running from 1940.

While in the USA, Tina is writing a blog, capturing highlights, sharing insights and reflecting programme events from the communication and social sciences perspective.
