This year's Annual Report focusses on the work undertaken by the ARRS's bodies – scientific councils of disciplines Scientific Council of the ARRS which are concluding their five-year terms in 2015, and the Governing Board of the ARRS. We encouraged their presidents to critically reflect upon the state of research in different fields in relation to the funding system in Slovenia. 

Alongside with standard set of indicators showing the position of Slovenian research in the EU28 and indicators on the distribution of ARRS funding from the state budget, we have for the first time draw attention to figures showing gender representation within ARRS's major funding mechanisms.
