Principal investigators of research programmes may extend their research interest to direct or indirect COVID-19 research.

(Ljubljana, March 26 2020) In accordance with the decision of the ARRS Scientific Council of 25 March 2020, we invite all programme groups to adapt or redirect their research submitted at the last call for research programme proposals, where appropriate and possible, in order to contribute to addressing the COVID-19 related issues.

Principal investigators of the programme groups that would like to refocus their research are invited to email the Agency’s administrators of research programmes and inform them about the basic directions of adapted or redirected research to be carried out within the existing scope of the research programme. When evaluating the research programme interim reports, the reviewers will be notified of the revised research topics. The ARRS Scientific Council calls for thoughtful adjustment of research topics and content.
