On April 16 2020, on the Science Business website has been published an article: »How research funding agencies are coping with COVID-19: The case of Slovenia«. Acting Director of the ARRS gives an interview on science funders quick adaption to the impact of the pandemic.

In the case of Slovenia, Slovenian Research Agency (ARRS) has invited all research groups it funds to adapt or redirect proposals submitted at the most recent call, where that was appropriate and possible, to COVID-19 related issues, the government  has also changed research funding laws, deadlines have been extended for research projects that depend on fieldwork.
