The scope and structure of funding

Young researchers

Funding for young researchers’ postgraduate studies and research training is an important scientific policy instrument at the ARRS. The programme has been successfully implemented since 1985 and has made an excellent contribution to increasing the amount of research conducted in Slovenia and reducing the age profile of research groups.

The youngest male mentor is 33 years old and the youngest female mentor is 35. The oldest male mentor is 78 years old and the oldest female mentor is 68.
